NEED OF THE HOUR (A COVID-19 COMPILATION )

               Global pandemic: COVID-19

The Coronavirus outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, Hubai, China in December 2019. Soon it turned out to be a global pandemic.
Social media was flooded with scary news and updates/ instructions on how to stay safe and contain the spread of the virus.
I won't repeat the same news of the number of deaths and those affected in different countries of the world, such as Italy,  USA, so on and so forth.

It's difficult to estimate the heavy losses in terms of health, fitness, lives, economy and education. Fear and anxiety seem to have promised to not leave us for ever. The greatest source of anxiety over Coronavirus has been watching the news through social media.

The need of the hour:

Positivity:

Instead of blaming each other,  let's take it positively. Otherwise it will worsen the problem day by day and soon there will be an increase in the amount of people becoming mentally ill. Anxiety and depression will dominate the world.

This is the time to realize the gravity of the situation and be responsible for the welfare of the community.
Pray for the psychological welfare of the mass, specifically our health care professionals. They are and will be witnessing unimaginable scenes of suffering and deaths, constant pain and agony and hardly get a slightest opportunity to relax.

In fact,  we all seem to have lost our happiness somewhere. There's no peace of mind. There's a constant fear of being affected with Coronavirus.

Inner peace. It's rightly said that,  you will not be able to achieve peace if you focus outside. There are constant distractions in terms of thoughts,  beliefs, sounds, sights,  smells, needs, desires and so much more.

The key to experiencing inner peace is to be totally still and quiet.
The key to maintaining inner peace is to continually let go of all the distractions, and to feel the peace that's already and always there within. As long as we live in this mundane world,  there will be distractions and sufferings. But never lose hope.  If you keep practicing , it becomes easier.  Eventually all it takes is some deep breaths and you will feel more at peace and calm.

Mindfulness/Meditation:

As we all are being locked down, and are supposed to practice social distancing, there can't be a better opportunity than this to utilize the moment for meditation. We will be able to control our anxiety.
Stay motivated.
Stay blessed.

Spiritual awareness:

It's urgently recommended to create spiritual awareness among the masses. Particularly,  kids should be trained to focus on their spiritual development,  which will automatically help in their all around development. They should be encouraged to practice goodwill, cooperation,  friendliness,  kindness/empathy and so much more positive qualities.

In order to maintain global peace and harmony, it would be a  great idea to have a constant increase in the number of both spiritual masters as well as spiritual seekers.

O' God! Let honesty and truthfulness prevail in this universe.
We should never forget to sincerely pray to the almighty for blessing our lives.
Sincere condolences to the family who lost their near and dear ones due to the pandemic. May their souls rest in peace for ever.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

At last,  let me share what Bill Gates says in the present context.
It's really heart touching.

A LEGENDARY FIGURE-- SAHADEB DAS [The untold story in History]

HOMAGE TO LATE SHRI SAHADEB DAS At the outset, it's my humble request to all to kindly pray that his soul rests in peace for ever."  A great freedom fighter, social worker, reformer and activist, late Shri Sahadeb Das was born in 1899. As Mahatma Gandhi to India ......as Sai baba to Shiridi .... as Gopabandhu Das to Odisha... similarly he was to Aul, Kendrapara. In fact, people in that locality admired him more than Gopabandhu Das.It can be verified through evidences. Because, he was no less than the others in fighting for the freedom of the nation. He was imprisoned several times during the British rule. He had completely neglected his family for the sake of society. After getting married for 16 years, he was blessed with his one and only daughter, Kunjalata Das. Most of the time he was out of home, doing social work. Hardly had she got any affection, he passed away in 1961 leaving his wife Radhamani and a small child to struggle ever after. Ther

My Quora journey - a major breakthrough!

Quora World Meetup 2020 I'm glad to share my thoughts and feelings: Today (August 13, 2020) I was able to attend the official Quora World Meetup 2020 online. It was an amazing experience for me being a panelist among a few other top/popular/enthusiastic contributors. It  will be a lifetime memory for me. I had  never attended any previous Meetups,  even at the city level, that's Quora Bhubaneswar Meetup.  This was my first ever meetup. It was a dream come true. It's really overwhelming  As I was alwas very curious to know everything, gain knowledge about the causes and effects, I kept on searching Google to quench my thirst for knowledge.  Luckily I stumbled upon Quora a couple of times. Also I got to know about what is Quora and how to create an account/set up a profile, in detail, through watching videos on YouTube.  I got interested in Quora and became more and more active since the beginning of 2019. At first I was busy with questions and answers. But soon Quora al
