My memories and acknowledgement

Having collected my final D.El.Ed certificate I bid goodbye to Sthitiprajna Higher Secondary School.

Aptakama Mishra, Secretary
Sthitiprajna Higher Secondary School

During a span of around two years. I had been to this place many times as my study centre for the d.el.ed course. All were very cordial, supportive and cooperative. It was a kind of emotional attachment to this institution, Management and other staff members, specially Priyanka Ray and Ranjita Pradhan ma'am which is quite unforgettable for me.

It was an amazing experience for me to be inside the school premises; peaceful, calm, safe and secure.

This is to acknowledge their friendly approach to administering the entire program so smoothly.

Wishing Sthitiprajna Higher Secondary School great success ahead.

Thanks and regards,

Mita Patnaik

Teacher

A LEGENDARY FIGURE-- SAHADEB DAS [The untold story in History]

HOMAGE TO LATE SHRI SAHADEB DAS At the outset, it's my humble request to all to kindly pray that his soul rests in peace for ever."  A great freedom fighter, social worker, reformer and activist, late Shri Sahadeb Das was born in 1899. As Mahatma Gandhi to India ......as Sai baba to Shiridi .... as Gopabandhu Das to Odisha... similarly he was to Aul, Kendrapara. In fact, people in that locality admired him more than Gopabandhu Das.It can be verified through evidences. Because, he was no less than the others in fighting for the freedom of the nation. He was imprisoned several times during the British rule. He had completely neglected his family for the sake of society. After getting married for 16 years, he was blessed with his one and only daughter, Kunjalata Das. Most of the time he was out of home, doing social work. Hardly had she got any affection, he passed away in 1961 leaving his wife Radhamani and a small child to struggle ever a...

Transition in the role of a "TEACHER"

"GURU" If you trace back to the past, you could understand how sacred was the concept of teacher. Only a real scholar, proven master, spiritually enlightened person, was recognized, appointed, and respected as Guru. As you know, India has a very old  (Guru Shishya) tradition. For his selfless service, teacher, the Guru, was held teacher in a very high esteem by the society and was respected by even kings. He was revered more than parents and enjoyed a unique status, even higher than that of gods:  "Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Gururdevo Maheshwara! : Guru Sakshat Parambrahma Tasmai Shree Guruve Namah!! "  The Guru was an epitome of good qualities of head, heart and hand, spirituality, knowledge, scholarship. A true teacher was supposed to be a student till the end of his life. It is like our concept of teach...
