Cyclone"Fani"- Side effects/after effects

                    CYCLONE "FANI"

It's a matter of great concern for all of us, living in the worst affected areas of Puri, Bhubaneswar etc. I belong to Bhubaneswar and am quite alarmed to witness such a natural disaster which ruined the globally ranked smart city of Bhubaneswar.

Few days back, during pre-election time Odisha Govt. spent a huge amount of money towards developing the capital city which attracted the attention of all. We people felt proud to be living in the smart city very highly ranked globally. But, alas! What a drastic change within a very short period of time! As if, some supernatural power or evil spirits smashed everything down.
Basically, I am sort of secular in nature. I don't believe in rituals and superstitions. But "Fani" made me think for a while...'shayad kisiki buri nazar lag gayi hai."
Although it's too difficult to describe in detail what damage has been done by "Fani", still I'm just trying to share my emotions briefly. Let me tell you, it didn't come to my mind even for the super cyclone of 1999 about 'boori nazar' or evil spirits and all this, even though it was also as much devastating as this.
You all must be thinking, why I am so late in expressing my feelings?
Well, the reason for this is also related to the cyclone "Fani".

The side effects/after effects greatly affected us. Mainly, it's due to failure of power supply for a very long period. We had to battle with scorching heat. It's almost like a vicious circle of problems and problems which were inter-related, i.e.

Side effects/after effects

- Many electric poles broke down to pieces
-Failure in power supply
-Water scarcity
-No air-conditioner
-No fan
-No drinking water or purified water.
-No charging of electric gadgets, such as charge lights,     mobile phones, PC,etc.
-Problem in communication as there was no network
-Stomach upsets due to scarcity of drinking water
   so on and so forth.

We can't imagine how long it will take to complete the process of complete restoration process as well as compensation for the heavy loss caused.
It's requested to all to keep sharing this post to maximum people through different media, so that it reaches to the farthest. We need help and support from others.
Thank you.

A LEGENDARY FIGURE-- SAHADEB DAS [The untold story in History]

HOMAGE TO LATE SHRI SAHADEB DAS At the outset, it's my humble request to all to kindly pray that his soul rests in peace for ever."  A great freedom fighter, social worker, reformer and activist, late Shri Sahadeb Das was born in 1899. As Mahatma Gandhi to India ......as Sai baba to Shiridi .... as Gopabandhu Das to Odisha... similarly he was to Aul, Kendrapara. In fact, people in that locality admired him more than Gopabandhu Das.It can be verified through evidences. Because, he was no less than the others in fighting for the freedom of the nation. He was imprisoned several times during the British rule. He had completely neglected his family for the sake of society. After getting married for 16 years, he was blessed with his one and only daughter, Kunjalata Das. Most of the time he was out of home, doing social work. Hardly had she got any affection, he passed away in 1961 leaving his wife Radhamani and a small child to struggle ever a...

Lord Jagannath and the Rath Yatra

(2020 edition).........COVID-19  restricted Rath Yatra.......                               ______________________________________________          LORD  JAGANNATH &                                     THE WORLD FAMOUS  CAR  FESTIVAL     On the occasion of Rath Yatra (Car Festival), this year held on July 4th, 2019 and upcoming Bahuda, let me express a few words on Lord Jagannath. Lord Jagannath, literally means, the Lord of this entire world . Can you believe, one of his devotees, Mr. K.K Sharma from Delhi,is going to create a history this year, by taking up a project at his own cost, to decorate the temples and the raths (chariots) with  a unique design of flowers, on the occasion of Rath Yatra, Suna Vesha,...

How to teach a 3-year-old to write?

Before you go for teaching your 3-year-old child how to write, you must first ensure that he/she has reached the readiness point yet or not. I mean to suggest that children should be provided with enough opportunities for strengthening their finer muscle coordination. Right from the beginning,  you can train them how to hold an object.  The child should be engaged in different activities through play way methods.  FINER MUSCLE COORDINATION: If a child may not be able to master the skill of how to grasp an object or how to hold a pencil/crayon, it’s meaningless to forcibly teach him/her how to write. Starting at about 2 years of age, children must be engaged in various indoor and outdoor activities which will help them strengthen their eye-hand coordination. Throwing and catching a soft ball Sand play Water play Clay modelling Fixing manipulative toys Color identification(first only the primary colors). Gradually move on to secondar...
